Sunday 18 October 2026. Chalet Girl: a self care day at Chetham Farm Retreat.

Women's wellbeing events across Bolton and the Ribble Valley

Come back to yourself.

Cosy, carefully curated gatherings that bring together local experts, real connection and a little room to breathe. Come exactly as you are — most women arrive knowing no one, and that's rather the point.

The waitlist

Hear about future gatherings first.

Join for gentle event updates, first access when booking opens and occasional news from the Discover Your IKIGAI community.

You're on the list.

Thank you — your place is saved. When the next gathering is ready, you'll get a quiet email with the date, the venue and first access to tickets, before anything is shared publicly.

In the meantime, follow along on Instagram for little moments from past gatherings.

The experience

An afternoon that feels like exhaling.

Every gathering is shaped around four gentle threads. Take part in whatever feels right for you on the day — nothing is expected of you here.

Create

Vision boards and reflective practices, guided by people who love what they do. You leave with something you made, and a clearer sense of what you want.

Unwind

Soundbath, stillness and room to breathe. Lie back, wrap up warm, and let someone else hold the space for a while.

Connect

Shared food, easy conversation and the company of women who get it. No small talk unless you want it.

Discover

Carefully chosen local experts and new practices to explore — gentle introductions, never lectures.

The community

Arrive on your own. Leave belonging.

Most women walk through the door knowing nobody. That takes a little courage — and it's met with warmth, every single time. This is what Discover Your IKIGAI is building: not just a calendar of gatherings, but a community around them.

  • Welcomed by name

Lynsey is at the door as you arrive, and she'll have learned your name before you've taken your coat off. Within minutes, you'll be introduced to someone you'll want to talk to.

  • Never left standing alone

Someone is always looking out for the woman on the edge of the room. If you ever find yourself unsure where to be, that lasts seconds — not the whole evening.

  • It carries on afterwards

The gathering is the door, not the destination. Photos and follow-ups afterwards, familiar faces at the next one, and friendships that keep going between events.

Come as you are. No experience, no plus-one, no version of yourself you need to perform. You're welcome here exactly as you arrive.

This is not therapy. It is not bootcamp. It is a return to you.

Take part in what feels right, and pause between sessions whenever you need to. Nothing is compulsory here.

Questions

Everything you're wondering.

Anything else on your mind? Join the list and ask away — every question gets a personal reply.

Not at all. Every gathering is designed for complete beginners, and you can take part in as much or as little as you like.

No. There's always space to pause, wander, or simply sit with a warm drink between sessions.

Most women do. You'll be welcomed by name at the door and introduced to people straight away — arriving alone is the norm here, not the exception.

Wear something comfortable. For Chalet Girl, check the latest event information or ask Lynsey what to bring before attending.
